Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager 1, will
be responsible for developing customer facing applications that
enable the use of MATLAB and cloud computing; contributing to robust,
flexible technical solutions that provide great value to customers;
serving on the Agile team that designs, develops, and maintains cloud-based
web applications; participating in all team activities such as
planning, requirements definition, design discussions, code reviews, and
software development; and working effectively with other team members to
provide a quality product for customers. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems and no
experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems and five (5) years of
experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in cloud-based
web development. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise in UI development for cloud-based
web applications using front-end technologies -- JavaScript, AJAX,
JQuery, and Backbone.js. • Demonstrated expertise developing secure multi-tenanted
web applications using Spring Web MVC framework, Ruby on Rails or
Groovy and Grails, Hibernate, and SQL. • Demonstrated expertise developing cloud-based web services
using Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure. • Demonstrated expertise developing Single Sign-On (SSO)
solutions using Federated Identity Management and Multifactor
