You will join our team at a critical point in the continued evolution of our business. Just as Doma is leveraging data analytics and cutting-edge technology to transform the industry, the People Team wants its transformation of HR support, services, and decisioning to be driven by reliable Talent data analytics. You will partner with the business and all People Team functional leaders to identify key Talent data sources, establish key metrics with meaningful analysis intervals, distinguish important operational reporting from data analysis, and extract relevant insights and translate them into actionable solutions and/or recommendations that will enhance People Team programs/processes, the employee experience, and ultimately business results.

Your Performance Objectives

Design and create engaging data visualization (e.g., tables, charts, graphs, dashboards) to reflect analysis outcomes and resulting recommendations in readily consumable formats for each applicable audience (i.e. executives, People team, business leaders, or frontline employees) leveraging both quantitative and qualitative approaches to generate meaningful insights and translate them into operational action recommendations.

Transform unstructured data into actionable workforce insights using data computing and visualization platforms (e.g. Excel, PowerBI, Looker, Workday).

Work in partnership with other team members to complete planned and ad-hoc analyses and data visualizations.

Support the creation of presentations displaying analysis findings for a wide range of audiences (technical and nontechnical).

Perform regular data audits to maintain data accuracy and enhance the credibility of and trust in the recommendations and solutions offered by the People team by enabling data driven decisions from reliable and relevant data sources.

Identify a comprehensive set of key data and relevant metrics that span the entire employment lifecycle by partnering with all People team functional leaders.

Create an integrated workforce planning process that optimizes resource allocation for business results, while also enabling budget and headcount plan/forecast insights to support strategic investments and/or trade-off decisions by partnering with the Finance team and Talent Acquisition leaders.

Contribute to the People Team's objective of creating exceptional employee experiences by collaboratively partnering with all functional areas of the People Team on all Talent data analysis and technical projects/initiatives.

Consistently analyze organizational health metrics to identify immediate areas for focus, as well as emerging trends for early intervention (e.g., engagement scores and pulse survey results, turnover rates, unplanned absences, etc.).

Continually assess compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws relative to employee data.

You Will Have

An undergraduate degree.

3-5 years of total information systems technology experience with 3+ years of analytical experience specifically focused on HR data analytics and system/data project/program management.

Excellent data modeling skills in Excel, Google Sheets, SQL and experience in developing reporting on a BI platform (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

You have an unquestionable affinity towards insights upon analyzing data to help make data driven business decisions and have a track record of successfully gleaning meaningful insights from multiple data sources, and progressing the evolution of analytics (i.e. descriptive, predictive and prescriptive).

Experience translating complex data into practical, consumable, and understandable formats for both targeted and broad consumption.
