About the Position

We're looking for a Billing Specialistto join our billing team. This position will report directly to the Billing Manager and be responsible for bill generation to bill finalization. They will also have involvement in complex billing including e-billing, joint billing, and advanced billing.

Competencies and Position Requirements

• Self-starter with ability to organize and prioritize effectively
• Willingness to learn new skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the firm, both internally and externally, written and verbal
  • Ability to work closely with the billing manager and accounting team to resolve issues as they arise
  • Ability to resolve complex situations professionally
  • Monitors work in progress (WIP) and accounts receivable (AR) levels
    • Prepares, reviews, edits, and posts client invoices
    • Processes notifications of past due accounts
    • Creates daily, weekly, monthly reporting as needed
      • Builds strong relationships with your assigned partners and managers
      • Actively works with Partners and Managers to stay current on billing and collections
      • Develops mutual respect and trust with all employees
      • Other duties as assigned Education and Experience
        • High school diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
        • Previous experience with billing and/or accounts receivable systems preferred Work Environment
