Non-Profit Controller - Build, Lead, Transform Location: New

your moment. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership:
Provide financial planning, forecasting, and recommendations to
support stabilization and long-term growth. System Overhaul &
Process Improvement: Assess and improve all finance-related
systems, policies, and procedures with an eye on sustainability and
scalability. Budgeting & Cash Management: Oversee accounting,
payroll, budgeting, and cash flow, ensuring timely reporting and
alignment with organizational goals. Financial Analysis & Decision
Support: Analyze complex financial data and translate insights into
actionable recommendations for leadership and the board. Risk
Management & Cost Optimization: Identify areas for financial risk
mitigation and lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency and
operational effectiveness. Audit, Compliance & Grants Management:
Lead annual GAAP audits, IRS Form 990 filings, and oversee grants
administration with a focus on internal controls and regulatory
compliance. Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead a lean but committed
finance team-including FP&A, general accounting, and
program-related financial staff-fostering a collaborative and
mission-aligned culture. What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred 7
years of progressive financial leadership, ideally in nonprofit
settings Deep knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit compliance, and grants
accounting Experience with systems implementation, financial
turnarounds, and leading organizational change A builder's
mindset-comfortable with ambiguity, excited by transformation, and
driven by mission ZRCFS
