balance . Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager: Oversee
all aspects of financial operations including general accounting,
financial reporting, and compliance Supervise and mentor a small
accounting team (currently 2 staff members) Manage the full-cycle
accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
payroll processing, and bank reconciliations Lead the monthly and
year-end close processes Prepare timely and accurate financial
statements and perform in-depth financial analysis Support annual
budgeting and periodic forecasting processes Collaborate with
program managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial
planning and accountability Assist with external audits and
maintain internal controls and compliance with nonprofit
regulations Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree a
plus) Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience;
nonprofit experience strongly preferred Demonstrated leadership and
team management skills High proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
experience with ERP/accounting software systems is desirable Strong
interpersonal skills with a collaborative, proactive, and
