HR: Payroll and Benefits Specialist Are you a detail-oriented payroll pro who thrives in a fast-paced environment? This client is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their HR team! This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people-all while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. In this role, you will: Process weekly payroll for 600 US-based employees Maintain and audit employee data in ADP, including new hires, terminations, benefits, and tax info Review and import weekly timecards Respond to employee questions about payroll and benefits with professionalism and care Run reports using ADP and Excel Handle employment verifications, unemployment claims, and benefit reconciliations Support benefit terminations and COBRA enrollments What you bring: 2-3 years of payroll and benefits experience Experience with automated payroll systems (ADP is a plus!) Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Confidence using Excel and solving problems independently Ability to juggle multiple priorities with urgency and professionalism
