Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled
Payroll Specialist on a long-term contract basis in Manchester, New
Hampshire. This role involves managing payroll operations for a
large workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant
regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
full-cycle payroll processes and a proven ability to handle high
volumes efficiently. Responsibilities: • Administer payroll
operations from start to finish for a workforce of over 1,200
employees, including weekly and biweekly payroll cycles. • Conduct
thorough audits of payroll data to identify and resolve errors or
discrepancies. • Ensure compliance with multi-state tax regulations
and payroll laws. • Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll
and maintain accurate records. • Collaborate with relevant
departments to address payroll-related inquiries and issues. •
Manage reporting and documentation to support tax filings and
compliance requirements. • Stay updated on payroll legislation to
ensure all processes align with current standards. • Handle
high-volume payroll functions efficiently, maintaining attention to
detail and accuracy. • Identify opportunities for process
improvements to enhance payroll operations. • Minimum of 2 years of
payroll experience, with a preference for 3-5 years in a similar
role. • Expertise in full-cycle payroll processing for large
employee groups. • Familiarity with multi-state payroll regulations
and compliance requirements. • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce
Now or similar payroll systems. • Strong analytical skills to
review and audit payroll data effectively. • Ability to manage
payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. •
Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle payroll
inquiries. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering
to ethical standards.
