Job Description:
Element Care, a non-profit leader in senior healthcare, seeks a
Medical Administrative Coordinator to join our dedicated team in
providing holistic, comprehensive care under the PACE program. This
role is pivotal in ensuring that our services are delivered
efficiently and effectively, helping our elderly clients enjoy a
higher quality of life within their own homes. As a Medical
Administrative Coordinator, you will manage administrative tasks,
coordinate patient care activities, and serve as a liaison among
patients, their families, and healthcare providers. Coordinate and
schedule appointments and meetings for clinical staff and patients.
Act as the first point of contact for patient inquiries, providing
exemplary customer service. Maintain meticulous patient records,
ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and protocols. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals to streamline processes and improve
patient care delivery. Handle confidential patient documentation
and ensure accurate billing and coding for services. Contribute to
team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Proficiency
in medical software, such as electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and
written communication abilities Capable of handling sensitive
information discreetly and professionally Knowledge of medical
terminology and healthcare operations Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical
Administrative Assistant (CMAA) preferred Any relevant healthcare
compliance and privacy training certifications
