manufacturer of high quality biodiesel in New Haven, Connecticut.
Our New Haven plant was built in 2012, became operational in 2013,
and presently employs a staff of 50 people directly and an
additional 200 people indirectly within Connecticut. Currently, we
have the capacity to produce approximately 40 million gallons of
biodiesel annually. $20 - $30/hr (depending on experience) Why join

seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Industrial
Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you
will be tasked with various welding duties to ensure the success
and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is an excellent
opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their skills and
expertise in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities: As a Permanent Industrial Welder, your key
responsibilities will include: 1. Performing complex welding
operations on a variety of metals and alloys to fabricate or repair
products, materials, and equipment. 2. Reading and interpreting
blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and written instructions to perform
welding tasks accurately. 3. Using a variety of welding techniques
such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding, and operating welding equipment
safely and effectively. 4. Monitoring the fitting, burning, and
welding processes to avoid overheating, distortion, or shrinkage.
5. Maintaining and repairing all welding equipment and machinery
for optimal performance. 6. Inspecting completed welds to ensure
they meet quality standards and specifications. 7. Collaborating
with the design and production teams to ensure the accuracy and
quality of all welding tasks. 8. Adhering to all safety protocols
and workplace policies. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the
Permanent Industrial Welder role should have the following
qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an
industrial welder or in a similar role in the manufacturing
industry. 2. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques,
and the ability to operate a wide range of welding equipment. 3.
Exceptional skills in reading and interpreting blueprints,
diagrams, and written instructions. 4. A strong understanding of
metallurgy and the welding properties of a variety of metals and
alloys. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to
troubleshoot welding issues effectively. 6. A keen eye for detail
and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 7. Strong physical
stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in
challenging conditions. 8. A valid welding certification from a
recognized institution. 9. A strong commitment to safety protocols
and workplace policies. 10. Excellent communication and teamwork
