Job Description Job Description Senior Estimator Senior Estimator Position Overview A leading electrical firm is looking for a Senior Estimator who will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret blueprints effectively. Key Responsibilities Review project blueprints and specifications to determine project requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations and projects. Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for accurate project bidding. Monitor project costs and provide management with updates on budgetary concerns. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather necessary information for estimates. Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and contracts. Qualifications Valid Electrician License and BS in Electrical Engineering or similar is preferred. 8 years experience estimating commercial electrical projects. Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency with construction estimating software such as Procore, Sage, PlanSwift, or similar.
