Job Description Job Description Salary: Requirements 3 years experience (OQ) certification, required Operator Qualification (OQ) certifications via Northeast Gas Association, or Energy WorldNet, Veriforce, etc. Tasks Include: Oversee construction activities conducted as a part of the clients construction program as well as specific projects. These include but are not limited to New Pipeline Construction, Bridge Crossing Installations, Trenchless Installations and other complex projects. Ensure construction operations meet operations & maintenance compliance i.e. shoring, fire extinguishers, stock waste, equipment calibration. Ensure Contractor has appropriate OQs per task; Crews understand Tie-In Procedures. May be responsible for monitoring general work site safety. This includes ensuring that the site is clean and orderly and that any hazards are addressed with the crew for mitigation. Any unmitigated hazards shall be immediately reported to the Company. Ensure Daily Tailboard Meetings occur and discuss at a minimum potential AOCs. Monitor the traffic control setup of the work zone to identify and report any traffic related hazards. In some cases, the roadway access permit or formal Traffic Control Management Plan will dictate specific requirements for traffic control. Monitor excavation and trench safety by ensuring that all excavation activities are conducted with adequate trench depth, shoring and spoils storage in accordance with appropriate standards. Shall understand the design document and validate that construction activities are being conducted in accordance with the project plans as well as appropriate standards. Categorizing material substitutions, design changes or deviations shall be communicated to the appropriate parties immediately. Shall be responsible for completing daily and project specific checklists. Shall be responsible for compiling all construction related documents in the work package supplied by the company or its representatives.
