You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a professional visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for assistance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support access control and incident reporting. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas, observing for unusual activity and/or policy violations and reporting concerns. Control access at assigned points by monitoring visitor and vehicle entry, verifying credentials as required, and directing individuals to appropriate areas. Complete required reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift handoff notes, and communicate key information to Allied Universal supervisors and/or client representatives. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
