Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in an
elementary school setting, serving students from Pre-K through 5th
grade. This contract role is aligned with the current school year
calendar and offers a structured schedule from approximately 8:40
AM to 4:00 PM. The position is based in Canton, MI, supporting
resource room services within the school. Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students in a
resource room setting. Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized
treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and
documentation of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and
contribute to multidisciplinary team planning. Desired
Qualifications: Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of
Clinical Competence). Experience working in school-based and
pediatric healthcare environments. Expertise in speech-language
pathology across diverse student populations, including school and
healthcare settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
to effectively engage with students, families, and educational
staff. Ability to work independently while managing a full
