Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist
(SLP) licensed in Maine to support a K-12 school located in
Biddeford, ME. This role focuses on providing specialized services
to elementary-aged students, including those using AAC devices and
requiring compensatory support. The contract position is scheduled
to start ASAP and continue through the end of the current school
year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language pathology
services tailored to the needs of elementary students Utilize
expertise with AAC devices to enhance communication outcomes
Provide compensatory services as outlined in individualized
education plans (IEPs) Manage caseload effectively while
coordinating with educators and families Qualifications: Current
Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Maine is required
Strong background in pediatric speech therapy within educational
settings Experience working with AAC technology and compensatory
service strategies Ability to work collaboratively with school
personnel, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Position Details:
Contract duration: remainder of the school year Weekly hours: 4-10
hours, scheduled across 1-2 days per week Age group focus:
