Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available supporting elementary and middle grade students during the school year in the Plainfield, IL area. This role involves providing therapy services across two campus sites, approximately 37.5 hours per week, aligned with the school schedule. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services primarily within general education and resource classrooms, with some support in self-contained special education settings. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students with diverse learning and physical needs. Track student progress and collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment. Provide support for sensory integration challenges and adapt strategies to meet student needs. Maintain thorough documentation consistent with school guidelines and professional standards. Qualifications and Experience: Current and active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois. Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred. Familiarity with sensory integration techniques and experience using measurable goals and progress notes. Ability to work onsite at two separate school locations, one site per day (no travel required during the school day). Benefits and Work Conditions: W-2 contract position with weekly pay every Friday.
