Job Description:

Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education teaching opportunity is available
for a K-12 school in Claremont, NH, running from ASAP through June
12, 2026 (tentative). This contract position supports virtual
special education services within the state's data systems and
regulatory framework, providing essential instruction and
behavioral support to students with disabilities. Key
Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs) utilizing NHSEIS for case management and
evaluations - Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and
service providers via platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, or
district-specific tools - Use data management and behavior-tracking
systems like Panorama to monitor student progress - Ensure
compliance with NH special education laws including IDEA and adapt
virtual instruction accordingly - Assess and support students with
behavioral and affective disorders using positive behavioral
interventions - Conduct observations, prepare reports on student
learning behaviors, and maintain clear communication with
stakeholders - Work closely with administrators, colleagues, and
families to facilitate effective educational outcomes Required
Qualifications: - Must hold valid New Hampshire state certification
in special education - Prior experience as a New Hampshire virtual
special education case manager is mandatory - Strong knowledge of
federal and state special education mandates and virtual service
delivery - Demonstrated ability to apply individualized
instructional strategies and behavioral supports - Excellent
interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English
Location: Claremont, NH Position Type: Contract, up to 37.5 hours
per week Duration: Current School Year (CSY), ending June 2026
