minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 school in
Colchester, CT, serving both middle and high school students. This
contract position is ideal for educators holding a 165
Comprehensive Special Education Certification who are dedicated to
making a positive impact on students learning experiences. The role
focuses on delivering individualized educational support tailored
to the unique needs of students with disabilities. Working onsite,
you will collaborate with fellow educators and support staff to
create inclusive classroom environments and develop appropriate
instructional strategies. This position offers the chance to engage
with a diverse student population and contribute to their academic
growth and social development. Key Responsibilities: - Design and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for middle and high
school students - Adapt curriculum and provide specialized
instruction to meet diverse learning needs - Monitor and document
student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary -
Collaborate with school personnel, families, and external service
providers to support student success - Maintain compliance with
state and federal special education regulations Qualifications: -
Valid 165 Comprehensive Special Education Certification required -
Experience teaching special education at middle and/or high school
levels preferred - Strong ability to develop differentiated
instruction - Excellent communication and teamwork skills Location:

Compensation for this position ranges from $25.50 to $55.00.
