active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contracted Physical
Therapist opportunity is available in an elementary school setting
located in Augusta, ME. This full school year placement involves
providing specialized therapy services to support the physical
development and mobility of young students. The role requires
collaboration with educational staff to develop and implement
individualized treatment plans that promote student achievement and
participation. Key Responsibilities: - Assess and evaluate physical
therapy needs of students within the elementary school environment.
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aligned with
educational goals. - Collaborate closely with teachers, parents,
and other professionals to support student progress. - Document
therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with
regulatory guidelines. - Participate in meetings and contribute to
the development of student education plans. Qualifications and
Experience: - Licensed Physical Therapist with current state
licensure. - Experience providing physical therapy services in
school and healthcare settings preferred. - Strong understanding of
pediatric physical therapy practices and developmental milestones.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. -
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location:
