Job Description Job Description Summary We are looking for a Camp Counselor to supervise and teach young campers this summer from June - August. You'll be responsible for overseeing and planning their activities to ensure they have a fun and safe summer experience. The job duties include playing games, engaging with children, preparing activities, and providing a clean, safe environment. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Camp Counselor. If you're patient, energetic, and love working with children we would like to meet you! Full Time and Part Time Positions Available Duties Responsibilities Plan indoor and outdoor activities for groups of campers Lead recreational and educational activities Escort and oversee children ranging in ages from 3- 10. Set up and maintain equipment indoors and outdoors Resolve occasional arguments between children and address behavioral issues Make sure all safety rules are followed Ensure space is clean Skills Proven experience as Camp Counselor or similar role working with children Patient and reliable Organizational and communication skills A love for working with children Energetic and positive personality Ability to meet the physical demands of the job such as running, standing, and moving with students Requirements Experience working with children Reliable Transportation Nice To Haves First aid- and CPR-certified preferred
