Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available within a K-12 school setting in Bethany, MO. This
contract position offers a structured environment for educators who
specialize in supporting students with diverse learning needs in a
self-contained classroom. Key responsibilities include: Developing
and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for a
caseload of approximately 20 students aged 11-15 Delivering
specialized instruction tailored to meet students academic, social,
and emotional needs Collaborating with school staff and families to
create an inclusive and supportive learning environment Monitoring
student progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with
educational regulations Qualifications and experience desired:
Valid teaching certification with a focus on Special Education
Experience managing a mid-sized caseload in a self-contained
classroom setting Strong understanding of effective instructional
strategies for students with disabilities Ability to work closely
with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance student outcomes
Commitment to fostering a positive, nurturing classroom atmosphere
Position details: Location: Bethany, MO (In-person candidates only;
virtual applicants will not be considered) Role Type: Contract for
the current school year, ending August 13th Weekly Hours: 40
