qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available
for a Certified, Licensed Audiologist with a PhD to serve within a
school district located in Norfolk, VA. This full-time itinerant
position offers the chance to develop and lead the districts
audiology services program, filling a critical role previously
managed by a local clinic that has ceased accepting district cases.
The role requires travel between schools to conduct hearing exams
and provide essential support to students. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive audiology program tailored to
the needs of the districts students. Conduct hearing assessments
and screenings at various school locations. Provide individualized
support and intervention services for students with hearing
impairments. Collaborate with educators, speech therapists, and
families to enhance student outcomes. Maintain accurate records and
ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. Qualifications
and Experience: PhD in Audiology. Valid Virginia Audiologist
License. Certified and licensed to practice audiology. Experience
working in school settings preferred. Ability to perform 1:1
audiology services and assessments. Excellent communication and
organizational skills. Location: Norfolk, VA (itinerant role
requiring travel to multiple school sites) Hours: Full-time, 37.5
