Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. We are
seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide
specialized support within a school setting. This role involves
working closely with students to assess, diagnose, and treat
speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them to
achieve their educational and personal goals. Location:This
opportunity is based in Derby, KS, offering a dynamic environment
within a school community. The position requires some travel
between school sites to meet the needs of multiple students. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language
evaluations for students. Design and implement individualized
treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support
student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress
reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Participate in team meetings regarding students educational
development and therapy outcomes. Provide consultation and training
to school staff regarding communication strategies and speech
therapy techniques. Qualifications: Valid state licensure or
certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working
in a school environment preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and
language development and disorders. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to manage caseloads effectively and
