Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to
serve K-12 students in a variety of classroom settings, including
Self-Contained, Resource, and Special Day Classrooms. The role
covers multiple grade levels, from elementary through high school
(K-12), providing specialized instruction and support tailored to
each student's unique learning needs. Location: Rockwood, TN
Contract Duration: January 2026 June 2026 Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours
per week, Monday through Friday Responsibilities: Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) consistent with
state guidelines Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of
diverse learners in grades K-12 Collaborate with general education
teachers, therapists, and parents to maximize student success
Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior Foster a
positive and inclusive classroom environment Qualifications: Active
State Teaching License in Special Education required Experience
working with students in self-contained, resource, and special day
classroom settings preferred Ability to teach across multiple grade
levels (K-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12) Strong communication and
