Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized teaching opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students. This contract position is based in Rockwood, TN, and offers a dynamic and rewarding environment within an elementary, middle, and high school setting. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations and modifications. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and success. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development and goals. Qualifications: Active Special Education Teaching License for the state of practice is required. Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. Strong understanding of special education laws, policies, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school personnel.
