Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide vital
speech-language pathology services to elementary students within an
established school district in the northern Atlanta area. This
full-time contract role is designed to cover maternity leave
through the end of the current academic year, offering an
opportunity to support youthful learners' communication development
in a dynamic educational setting. Responsibilities include:
Delivering comprehensive speech-language evaluations,
interventions, and progress monitoring tailored to elementary-aged
children. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and educational
staff to design individualized education plans (IEPs) that address
students speech and language needs. Maintaining accurate
documentation, including session notes and compliance with district
policies. Participating in team meetings and contributing to a
multidisciplinary approach to student success. Ensuring timely
communication and reporting to caregivers and school
administration. Qualifications and Experience: Active Georgia
Department of Education certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Georgia SLP license. Experience working with elementary
school-aged children. Ability to work onsite at one elementary
school location in either Acworth or Woodstock. Previous experience
in school-based speech-language pathology preferred. Commitment to
full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. This
position operates strictly on-site, supporting students in an
in-person learning environment, and is not open to Speech-Language
Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). This temporary role begins in early
to mid-March and continues through the end of the school year (May
22, 2026). Candidates with varying levels of school experience will
