Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher is needed to provide
dedicated support to a K-12 student with significant needs in a
school setting near Shelton, WA. This position involves working
closely with one heavily impacted student, delivering tailored
educational strategies and interventions to promote development and
learning. The role requires a part-time commitment at 0.5 FTE and
is strictly in-person to ensure direct engagement and effective
support. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized
education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary
teams. Provide specialized instructional strategies tailored to the
students unique learning needs. Monitor and document student
progress, adjusting interventions as necessary. Facilitate
communication between parents, therapists, and school staff.
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Desired
Qualifications: Certification or licensure in Special Education.
Experience working with students who have significant disabilities.
Strong understanding of behavioral and developmental challenges.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
Commitment to providing personalized, compassionate educational
support. Location: This position is located near Shelton, WA, with
the student based in Mossyrock. Daily in-person attendance is
