Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to
join a center-based behavior program at a middle school in Andover,
MN, serving students who need intensive behavioral support and
assistance with reintegration into general education classrooms.
The program supports a caseload of approximately 10 students
primarily in grades 2 through 5, with some K5 students as
enrollment varies. The classroom environment features a high
staff-to-student ratio, including seven educational assistants, to
ensure personalized, effective support. Responsibilities: Deliver
specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse
disabilities, including Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Other
Health Disabilities (OHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and
visual impairments. Implement behavior intervention plans and
support reintegration efforts into general education settings.
Collaborate with educational assistants and support staff to create
a positive, structured learning environment. Monitor student
progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively
with families and school personnel. Adapt curriculum and
instructional techniques to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education.
Valid Minnesota state licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
Experience working in a center-based behavior program or similar
setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of behavioral
interventions and inclusive education strategies. Location:
