A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, providing essential services across multiple school sites in the Belfast, ME area. This role involves working directly with students from preschool through 12th grade, delivering personalized speech therapy designed to support their communication development in a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy to students, managing a caseload typically ranging between 10 to 15 students. Travel between various school sites within the assigned area to deliver in-person services. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation and reports. Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning efforts. Desired Qualifications: Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Experience working with pediatric populations across a broad age range, from preschool to high school. Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively. Willingness to travel between school sites to provide services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, suitable for working with children, families, and school staff. Work Schedule: Full-time position with 7 hours per day, 5 days a week. Please note, this role does not offer teletherapy options; all services must be delivered in person.
