This opportunity requires experienced paraprofessionals to support K-5 students using a life skills-based curriculum in an onsite school setting in Damariscotta, ME. The position is a contract role running from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, for 32 hours per week. Candidates with Educational Technician II or III certification are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Provide instructional support to students in grades K-5 focusing on life skills curriculum. Assist classroom teachers in adapting learning activities to meet individual student needs. Support the social and behavioral development of students. Monitor and document student progress under supervision. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications: Valid Educational Technician certification Level II or III. Experience working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting. Knowledge of life skills curriculum and special education strategies. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
