Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a
K-12 school setting located in Groton, CT. This contract role
offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language
therapy services to students across a broad age range, supporting
their communication development and educational success.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language
assessments for students K-12. Develop and implement individualized
treatment plans tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with
teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student
progress. Monitor and document student performance and therapy
outcomes regularly. Participate in Individualized Education Program
(IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights. Ensure
compliance with all school and district policies related to speech
therapy services. Qualifications: Valid state license or
certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working
with school-aged children in a K-12 environment. Strong knowledge
of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention
strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to
maintain accurate records and comply with applicable regulations.
Location: Groton, Connecticut (Onsite) This position offers a
starting pay rate of $65 per hour and is a contracted, full-time
