and Hillsboro, Oregon.
ASML in Wilton CT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to join
the YieldStar Sensor NPI ME team. The Manufacturing Engineering
position is part of the Development and Engineering organization.
As a Manufacturing Engineer you are responsible for ensuring the
manufacturability of Wilton products in preparation to be
transferred to production.
Roles and responsibilities
This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite
presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and
meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and
innovation.
During the design phase of a new product, the Manufacturing
Engineer (ME) supports design document reviews, pFMEAs, and other
major NPI design deliverables.
During the first proto Phase the ME supports pilot builds and
transfers knowledge to the factory floor. The ME determines how the
design needs to be built and serves as second line of support to
production.
Assist the assemblers and Production Engineers when issues arise,
such as technical, process or tooling issues.
Support the factory & project team via material notification /
issue resolution, parts usage analysis and resolution, tracking and
reporting.
Maintain alignment on agreed cycle time and Performance targets, as
well as drive the implementation of those ideas that are needed to
bring these important drivers within budget.
Support all functionality including electrical, mechanical,
mechatronic, software and sub-components of the YieldStar Sensor
modules for new product introduction and/or existing products.
Develop, implement and optimize the production Work
Instructions.
Identify and work out diagnostics improvements for the factory to
improve their troubleshoot capabilities.
Drive continuous improvement by translating lessons learned back
into process and product improvements.
Keep yourself up-to-date with developments and trends internal to
the ASML industry and also keep up with a constantly evolving
Standard. You will attend training courses to stay up to date with
the new technology and programs available to ASML.
Typical business hours with travel international up to 10 %.
Education and experience
A degree is required and the following subjects are relevant:
Sciences

Technology
Years of required, relevant experience are outlined below:
Associate's with 6 years of experience
Bachelor's or above with 4 years of experience
Experience
Working experience in an engineering or service environment as well
as knowledge in Photo-lithography tools is preferred.
Experience in a production environment with high tech products and
complex production processes is an advantage.
Proven excellent fluent communication skills in English, written +
verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must and
prior experience with xml editors (Arbor text, Oxygen) is
definitely a plus.
Working knowledge of SAP, is a plus
Working knowledge of computers and other communication tools.

Communication skills: Equipment Engineers must be able to gather
the complex, technical information from the Subject Matter Experts
and translate it for users who do not have the technical
background.

for others to follow. They must be detailed and precise at every
step so that the instructions can be useful.
Teamwork: Equipment Engineers must be able to work well with
others. They are always part of a team. They collaborate with other
team members, authors, and Subject Matter Experts, Customer Support
etc.
Technical skills: Equipment Engineers must be able to understand
and then explain the highly technical information in a simple
way.
Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with
others encountered in the course of work.
Can learn and apply new information or skills.
Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and
documents.
Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
through prioritization, quality, efficiency and
professionalism.

This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite
presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and
meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and
innovation.
A flexible workplace arrangement may be available to employees
working in roles conducive to remote work (up to two days a
week).
While performing the duties of this job, daily tasks may include
sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and
feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
The employee is occasionally required to move around the
campus.

Role within Office
Essential Job Functions

Commute to ASML's facility and report to work on a regular and
timely basis and complete the scheduled workday on a consistent

Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand

day, five days per week.
