Volt is immediately hiring a Supplier Technical Engineer in Winsted, CT. As a Supplier Technical Engineer you will: Key Responsibilities: Review supplier data to verify compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. Review non-conforming parts in MRB (Material Review Board) and determine appropriate dispositions. Monitor and report on supplier defect rates; guide suppliers in corrective actions. Support suppliers in implementing process improvements and quality assurance plans. This is a full time, contingent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Required Skills and Competencies: Communication: Ability to convey technical and quality-related information clearly and effectively to all parties involved. Problem Solving: Expertise in identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions. Quality Assurance: Deep knowledge of QA methodologies. Supplier Management: Skilled in managing supplier relationships, performance, and certifications. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Extensive experience in supplier quality, manufacturing standards, and quality assurance.
