Assembler Shifts: Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 11:30pm Job
Description The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for
reading and interpreting work orders, following sample assemblies,
and pulling parts for shop floor orders. This role involves
assembling parts and units according to work instructions or verbal
instructions, positioning and aligning parts in specified
relationships, and performing operations to secure parts in place.
Responsibilities Read and interpret work orders and follow sample
assemblies. Pull parts for shop floor orders and assemble
parts/units according to work instructions. Position and align
parts in specified relationships using fixtures or other holding
devices. Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, solder, or perform
similar operations to join or secure parts. Mount assembled
components such as transformers, resistors, transistors,
capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or route and
connect wires between individual component leads and other
components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Install
finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and
switches, to assemblies. Perform intermediate assembly tasks as
required. Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve
specified electrical or dimensional characteristics. Essential
Skills 1 years of mechanical assembly experience. 1 years of
manufacturing experience. Proficiency in using hand and power
tools. Experience with mechanical assembly, soldering, electronics,
electrical assembly, circuit board wiring, harness assembly, and
crimping. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift up to
50 pounds. 1 year of experience utilizing hand and power tools. Why

requires a steady pace. The dress code includes long pants such as
jeans, khakis, or Dickies. The first shift runs from 7 am to 3:30
pm, with openings in production line assembly, electromechanical
assembly, and PC board assembly. The second shift runs from 3 pm to
11:30 pm, with openings in transformer assembly and cabinet
assembly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position
based out of Bethlehem, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length
