Job Description Job Description Description This position performs a variety of mechanical/electrical engineering-related functions in support of the design and application of all pumping controls related accessories. This will include a range of engineering duties from calculations, CAD drafting, testing, and other similar technical functions. Skills VFD, process documentation, cad software, electrical wiring, control panel design, UL508A, Analog Sensors, Sales Support, ERP, continuous process improvement, plc programming Top Skills Details VFD, process documentation, cad software, electrical wiring, control panel design, UL508A Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in a mechanical, electrical or similar engineering discipline. Associates degree in electrical engineering with 3 years’ experience (also accepted). Electrical Controls Designer with 10-years’ experience (also accepted). · Three to five years’ experience in a technical manufacturing or similar environment. Previous knowledge of centrifugal pumps is a plus. · Proficient in the design and application of mechanical and electrical components and equipment. · Ability to use computers and software programs including: o Autocad 2D o MS Outlook o MS Word o MS Excel · Can be productive with minimal supervision. · Has the ability to learn quickly and advance upon what has been learned. · Strong attention to detail. · Requires good communication and teamwork skills. · 10-15% travel Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Old Saybrook, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/yr. medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Old Saybrook,CT.
