Job Description Job Description Integrity Trade services is currently hiring for a 2nd and 3rd shifts CNC Machinists at our client in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Hours: 2nd shift- 2:00PM - 10:00pm M-F 3rd shift- 10:00PM - 6:00am M-F Pay rate - $27/hr Plus $2 Shift Premium! Based on experience The CNC Machinist is responsible to set up and operate universal CNC grinding machines to perform a variety of complex machining operations to close tolerance customer specifications. Perform frequent changeovers for small quantity custom orders. RESPONSIBLITIES: Receive and review work assignments; verify that work pieces and routing match regarding count, type and proper sequence. Follow established procedures for machine set up, including; select proper grind wheels, bushings, collets and programs to be use; input tool and set up values; grind first piece, inspect, adjust as needed. Dress and form abrasive wheels using standard dressing devices. Mount and secure tools in machine. Set and adjust wheel spindle speeds, feed rate and travel stops. Run equipment in auto-cycle whenever possible, continually inspecting finished tools for correct dimensions. Set up and operate more than one machine. Enter all production information into the system. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience with basic machine operation or related technical training. One year of direct machine setup and operation experience. Previous experience involving principles of grinding. Must be able to read, understand and follow written instructions and shop drawings. Above average math skills. Must be able to calculate appropriate machine settings and adjust accordingly. Must have good math and trigonometry skills. Must be able to use required precision measuring and testing equipment. Broad knowledge of cutting tool design and universal grinding procedures through using multi-axis CNC equipment. Computer literate, able to enter programs and directions. Strongly preferred candidates with previous experience operating CNC grinding equipment such as; Walter, ANCA, Star, Schutte, Rollomatic. The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment. An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment. Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave 401(k) with company match for eligible employees. Eligibility: Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age. Entry dates into the 401(k) are: 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work. The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.
