Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Die Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing dies used in high-speed thin metal precision stamping processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production equipment operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dies and presses. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to die performance and production. Inspect and evaluate die conditions to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve die designs and functionality. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and modifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices while working in the production area. Qualifications Experience with stamping dies preferably high-speed progressive tools Strong knowledge of high-speed thin metal precision stamping processes. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficient in using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
