Job Description Job Description Job Title: Grinder / Polisher – 1st Shift Location: Canton, Ohio Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Grinder/Polisher to join a growing manufacturing team in Canton, Ohio. This role is responsible for finishing metal parts to specification by grinding, sanding, and polishing, while maintaining quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Grind or sand sharp edges and burrs from metal parts Operate stroke, belt, and orbital sanders, as well as pneumatic grinders Work to close tolerances according to blueprints and specifications Perform pre-coating preparation and/or final finishing operations Locate, drill, countersink, tap, spot face, counterbore, and ream holes per prints Locate and weld studs according to blueprints Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience High School Diploma or GED required Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Stable work history Ability to work independently and in a team environment Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Consistent 1st shift schedule Clean and safety-focused work environment Opportunity for long-term employment and growth If you feel you have the above qualifications, please apply for immediate consideration.
