of the Service Manager, the Service Coordinator supports both shop
and field service operations by responding to customer inquiries,
processing phone orders, checking stock availability and shipping
dates, quoting prices, and entering sales data. This role schedules
and dispatches field service technicians, prepares service job
quotes, assigns duties, and ensures service jobs progress according
to schedule. The Service Coordinator also assists the outside sales
team with sourcing products and preparing quotes, manages job
documentation, and maintains accurate records within the P21
system. Responsibilities of the Service Coordinator include, but
are not limited to: Schedule and dispatch shop and field service
technicians Assign duties and daily tasks to service technicians
when Service Manager is away. Prepare quotes for service jobs and
assist with pricing requests Enter jobs into the P21 system, assign
SO numbers, and create POs Order parts for service jobs and ensure
received parts are allocated to the correct job Updates job
progress on all in house repair and Field Service activities
Capture freight charges and maintain accurate cost tracking Assign
labor hours to service jobs and ensure accuracy within P21 Invoice
service jobs and support timely billing Inspect service jobs to
verify conformance with company standards and/or customer
specifications Ensure service technicians follow company safety
policies Coordinate Activities of Administrative Assistant with
Service Manager Assist the Service Manager with administrative
tasks, documents, and special requests Assist in development and
implementation of Quality Control program Assists in development
and implementation of our kitting program. Assist in evaluating
service technicians and supporting performance discussions Create
and maintain spreadsheets to track shop supplies inventory Order
office supplies and ensure required forms are consistently stocked
Generate packing slips for all completed jobs leaving the shop
Maintain and organize important documents for field and service
mechanics, including badging, certificates, and safety documents
Price check and order necessary supplies for field mechanics and
machinists Support outside sales by preparing quotes and sourcing
products Take in lead roll in our safety program Qualifications of
the Service Coordinator include, but are not limited to: Prior
inside sales, customer service or estimating experience Preferably
2–3 years of experience in pump, motor, rotating equipment, or
industrial product sales (not required) Experience in pump Field
service and fabrication Knowledge of Field Service, Mechanical pump
repair, welding, machine work, electrical, motors, pump curves,
vibration and laser alignments. Employee management experience with
the ability to motivate teams and accomplish goals Proficiency in
Windows-based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with
Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, SAP Ariba, and Citrix P21 is a
plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to
work independently with enthusiasm and initiative Must have
experience performing a majority of the listed functions Strong
data entry, organization, multi-tasking, and customer service
skills Willingness to learn and take direction when needed LI-JG1
