We are currently seeking candidates for our Winsted , Connecticut location for: CNC Mill Machinist - 3rd shift! Why work at DRT? Dental/Medical/Vision Benefits available Day 1 PTO available immediately 401(k) with company match Tuition Reimbursement 15% Shift Differential for off-shift Responsibilities: Read and understand drawings and operation sheets including knowledge of GD&T Ability to run CNC mills required – with minimal supervision. Preferred experience with Mori Seiki, Makino, Yasda or Roeders machines. Ability to set-up and debug CNC mill required Ensure all standard quality procedures are followed such as machine set-up, operation, inspection, documentation, and material handling. Document the required in-process inspection dimensions Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements. Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required Qualifications: High school diploma/GED CNC milling experience Demonstrated skill working in a team environment Must have a positive attitude Experience in precision component manufacturing preferred Experience in using gauging equipment to inspect work DRT is a dynamic and growing organization that offers competitive compensation and excellent benefits: company paid life and dental insurance along with available medical (available day one), disability, and (voluntary) life insurances.
