Avis Budget Group is seeking a dedicated Mobile Truck Mechanic (Tech B) to join our team, providing vital services maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure the smooth operation of our fleet. As part of our skilled labor team, you will work directly on our well-recognized brands including Avis, Budget, and Zipcar, across various locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our vehicles are operational, safe, and meet all regulatory requirements. Your expertise will not only enhance vehicle reliability but also our company's commitment to customer satisfaction. Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs including engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, and HVAC systems. Conduct emergency repairs on vehicles and equipment in the field. Complete detailed reports and paperwork on maintenance and repair tasks. Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing technical training to remain up-to-date with industry standards. Manage inventory of tools and supplies, reordering as necessary. In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, brake, and electrical systems. Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and vehicle electronics. Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) preferred. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus but not required.
