Regional ManagerRegional ManagerJOB SUMMARYThe Regional Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating multiple locations in a specified geographical region including staff management, revenue control, safety, and client relations. In overseeing a portfolio of accounts/locations the Regional Manager will build strong client relationships, develop account management strategies, coordinate with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs, and identify opportunities to grow accounts. As theRegional Manager, you will be an integral part of the region's overall success. The Regional Manager will directly report to the Executive Vice President.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFinancial and Business Systems Management- Understands and drives business metrics and performance measurements to ensure effectiveness, high performance, and compliance.- Delivers results that contribute to the mission and overall success of each location by focusing on performance objectives focused on business revenues, client, and associate satisfaction.- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports as required.- Review profit and loss statements, adjustments, and variance reports monthly; adjust as necessary to achieve budget goals.- Effectively utilizes standardized business systems as developed by UPP Global and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.- Communicate regularly with direct reports, Vice President, and other designated contacts within the organization.Service Management- Responsible for the supervision of location management and/or frontline staff including delegating, coaching/developing, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with all UPP standards.- Act as the main point of contact for managers; attend location meetings as appropriate and respond to client requests to develop and maintain a good working relationship.- Is knowledgeable of the client's service metrics/measurements and ensures UPP Global is helping to drive results.- Set an example for staff by maintaining a neat and clean appearance, following grooming and appearance policy guidelines.- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.People Management- Provide oversight and direction to the management in each location in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.- Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, training, and disciplinary action, with the assistance of Human Resources, when necessary.- Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ staff as needed.- Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.- Maintains strict confidentiality related to associate and client information.- Ability to think strategically and lead teams.- Ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment.- Constantly evaluate opportunities for self-development.Systems and Standards-Fully understands and utilizes systems and equipment provided by UPP Global to control assets and expenditures.- Ensures direct reports are maintaining a clean, neat work environment including equipment and signage on sites.- Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the Executive Vice President and client(s).REGIONAL MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTIONClient Relations Management- Maintain transparent communication. Appropriately communicate organization information through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and appropriate email, and regular interpersonal communication.- Developing cohesive working relationships with the clients' staff members.- Understands the business objectives of the client and ensures the entire UPP management team is focused on exceeding expectations.Safety and Risk Management-Understands and follows safety and security procedures.- Ensures all staff is properly trained on all required job equipment.- Practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by UPP Global.- Reports all accidents, incidents, potential high-risk areas, and safety concerns to Human Resources immediately.- Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner.- Follows the procedures for reporting on-the-job injuries and works with Human Resources and leadership to effectively manage worker's compensation cases.- Adheres to UPP Global employment and payroll policies and procedures to limit exposure to employment claims and litigation.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
