Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our growing team. The Customer Service Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of our Customer Service team in addition to providing direct customer service to Garbage to Garden participants. The Customer Service ManagerThe goal is to keep the department running in an efficient manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to exceed their expectations. As a member of the leadership team, you will participate in the development of overall company wide policies and provide input into short and long term planning.ResponsiblitiesManage the Customer Service/Dispatch Department day-to-day operationsHandle all communications confidently in a knowledgable, articulate, and friendly mannerCreate, delegate, and track service requestsTake ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolutionCommunicate job expectations to Customer Service team membersImprove customer service experience, create engaged customers and facilitate organic growthCommunicate information related to new services, products, and proceduresDevelop service procedures, policies and standardsKeep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussionsRecruit, mentor and develop customer service agents and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowermentMaintain an orderly workflow according to prioritiesLead weekly team meetingsAccomplish customer service human resource objectives by participating in the recruitment, selection, training, performance management, and coaching of employeesWork with our finance department to ensure accuracy of all residential accounts receivableProvide direct customer service - answer calls and respond to emails, leading by example and providing exceptional service and the right resolutions for our customersRequirementsExperience as a team manager of direct reports in a Customer Service environment - supervisiing and motivating othersAbility to provide relevant feedback and address performance related issuesAbility to prioritize and organize effectively in a fast paced, changing environmentFluency in EnglishAdvanced problem solving and multitasking skillsStrong client-facing and communication skillsCustomer service mindsetExperience with Google suite and other basic software applicationsOutstanding record of reliability and attendanceJob Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offPaid trainingParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWork Location:One locationWork Remotely:NoWork Location: One location
