of hire.The Opportunity Alliance is currently seeking several
Housing Stability Resource Managers to join or Emergency Rental
Assistance Program.The Housing Stability Resource Manager position
is a professional position which contributes to the community by
supporting the Rental Assistance Specialists with assisting tenants
and landlords needing emergency rent relief. The position provides
a single entry point that tenants/landlords who apply for the
emergency rental assistance program may need to stay housed. The
Housing Stability Resource Manager will coordinate access and
referrals to the needed housing stability services for individuals
and families facing housing instability in their rental housing.
The Resource Manager will adhere to Federal and State guidelines
while maintaining strong, open communication and excellent follow
through.This position requires considerable discretion and the
ability to maintain confidentiality.This is a Full Time, 40
hours/week,benefit eligible position, through December 31, 2021
(further if funding is extended).Work will be done remotely,
however some in person workin and around central Agency
administrative offices, requiring some travel in the Greater
Portland areamay be requested.Qualifications: High School Diploma
or equivalent with 1- 3 years\ experience is required. Associate\s
degree in a human services related discipline, plus 2 years\
experience working in a human services position preferred.Ability
to respond with-in fast paced environment, and to fulfill multiple
and concurrent administrative functions.Demonstrated proficiency in
Microsoft Office products. Database experience a plus.Ability to
work both independently and as part of a team while following
general policy guidelines.Ability to exercise good judgment and to
respond effectively in adverse situations.Ability to learn and
troubleshoot mandated program electronic databases.Ability to deal
with confidential matters and maintain confidential files, to
interact appropriately and with discretion.Cultural awareness of
the diverse population of new Mainers important.Prior work in
social services a plus.Must be able to successfully pass a criminal
background, child protective service check & sex offender
check.Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment
list.Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional
standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling,
crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry material weighing
up to 25 pounds.Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and
trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite
and within the program service area. This may include
transportation of clientsor driving to agency location to complete
work. A good driving record is required.Pay is competitive and
