Please know we are requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of hire.The Opportunity Alliance is hiring for a Residential Program Director at The Morrison Place.https://www.opportunityalliance.org/morrison-placeThe Program Director is a management positions of a clinical, administrative and supervisory nature; responsible for overseeing operations and managing the full range of direct services program wide.This position contributes to the accomplishment of the Agencys mission through the provision of planning and directing the major activities of the program; supervising program staff and student interns, working with clients, managing program milieu; performing administrative duties ensuing adequate occupancy, budgeting and expense monitoring overseeing the collection of client one-to-one data; preparing program reports; and conducting on-going evaluation of and improvements in program activities. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Clinician to lead a residential program using a Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction Approach among other treatment modalities. The Director position is administrative in nature requiring strong leadership skills working with the VP and adherence to DHHS Office of Behavioral Health contracts.Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Vice President of Residentials.This is a Full-Time, 40 Hour/Week position with the home base in Portland, Maine.Qualifications:Masters degree in Social Work or a related field (a related field includes psychology, sociology, case management, human development and child development) required.LCSW required. LADC licensure a plus.Minimum of two years of experience in a related mental health or substance abuse and co-occurring disorders environment preferred. At least one-year of supervisory experience required.Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work in a team environment required.Flexible schedule is required.Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender checkMust not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.Must pass CNA registry checkMust be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 poundsDriving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clients or driving to agency location to complete work.
