- Position Summary
- ATTENTION: This is a Hybrid Work Opportunity for an experienced people leader with a strong, well-rounded, IT Infrastructure background. This leader will need to be on-site 3-5 days/wk initially, then it may transition to more of a remote schedule with quarterly and as needed visits. Ideal candidate will bring their systems, network, security, telephony, etc. skills to this position and team. IT's 5-yr plan ahead is full and exciting and requires a director who has experience with scaling up infrastructure to accommodate growth and security. Job Description The Director of IT Infrastructure will lead and oversee the infrastructure engineering and architectural teams. Responsible for coordinating functionality and maintenance of LAN/WAN, server and database computer equipment, data center, telephone systems, on-call, and customer service through development of management systems, documentation, and troubleshooting procedures; Establish preventive maintenance, security, backup and disaster recovery procedures.The Director will act proactively to ensure that the MPHC technology infrastructure is adequate to meet the organization's tactical and strategic objectives. The Director will also promote a high level of IT staff customer service and support and the appropriate deployment of technology in an on-going effort to maximize the return on MPHC's investment in people and technology. Coordinate projects and assignments with the IT and MPHC Management Teams. Develop policies and procedures to ensure that IT meets governmental mandates (DoD contract, JCAHO, HIPAA, etc.) and MPHC management procedures. Audit process performance and report metrics. -Key Outcomes:Works with IT staff and Management to maintain maximum system, network, services, data availability, and customer service in a safe and secure environment. This is accomplished by:

• Works with MPHC Purchasing, IT Staff and vendors of software/hardware/services to ensure that the appropriate approach, selection criteria, and contractual terms are applied.
• Works with IT management/staff and MPHC management/staff to effectively implement, maintain/track (assets) and integrate the software/hardware/services with the MPHC systems and architecture.
• Ensures that IT staff is effectively, and in a timely manner, providing MPHC personnel support and training.
• Guarantor of adequate safeguarding of MPHC computing resource and data by planning and managing the execution of adequate data backups, security (physical and computer) and disaster plans.
  • Continuously seeks technologies to address existing and future MPHC needs.
  • Effectively communicates applicable technology solutions to IT staff and MPHC management/staff.
  • Manages and coaching staff and managers to perform effectively, as a team, to support MPHC with an intense focus on customer service/support and proactive problem solving.
    • Manages the IT infrastructure resources and staff to meet the objectives and clearly measurable performance standards set forth in the service level agreement between IT and customers both internal and external.
    • Develops and managing within an operating and capital budget.
    • Ensures that MPHC is maximizing its return on technology investments.Works with MPHC Management Team to proactively identify technology solutions that directly contribute to achieving corporation business strategies in a cost effective and timely manner. -
      • Responsible for conceptualizing and managing technology solution projects by completing and meeting specifications, timelines and commitments. Education/Experience:
        • Bachelor's Degree required in MIS, CIS or CS, or combination of relevant education and experience (MBA preferred). -
        • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT Infrastructure including experience in a leadership role
