*JOB SUMMARY: *The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in the daily operations, developing and leading a professional retail associate team to ensure achievement of operational goals and 100% customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to work the opposite shifts of the Store Manger which is typically afternoon / evening shift as well as Sundays.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Trains store personnel by reviewing and revising orientation to new products
* Evaluates competition by visiting competing stores; gathering information such as style, quality and pricing of competitive merchandise.
* Purchases inventory by researching emerging products, anticipate buyer interest, negotiate volume price breaks; placing and expediting orders and verifying orders and receipts
* Attracts customers by originating displays following display suggestions from Store Manager negotiate price breaks and produce merchandise displays in windows, showcases and on sales floor
* Promotes sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers- Helps customers by providing information, answering questions, obtaining merchandise requests, completing payment transaction and prepare merchandise for sale
* Maintains a safe and clean store environment by developing and publishing evacuation routes, determine and document locations of potentially dangerous materials and chemicals
* Maintains inventory by checking merchandise to determine inventory levels and anticipate customer demand
* Helps maintain brand image to Corporate specs
* May serve as Store Manager when Store Manager is not on company ground
* May duplicate services as a cashier or as Kitchen help

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
