Growing IPP - Utility-scale Solar & Wind projects across the USAbility for 100% remote work in the US - focusing on projects across WECCAbout Our ClientA rapidly growing IPP (currently 100 people) that has coverage across the US for Utility-scale solar, wind and battery projects.With a substantial pipeline of projects in both the early and delivery phase, our client are actively looking to grow their Development team and expand across multiple regions. The long term plan is for individuals to oversee specific regions in all renewable technologies. With the amount of projects they are currently working on, along with their pipeline, they need to appoint 3-4 Development professionals.Job DescriptionThe Director of Development (Solar & Wind) will be responsible for:Lead and support an existing Development teamEffectively grow an existing Development team focusing on Utility-scale projectsAcquire real estate rights for development opportunitiesMaintain relationships with landowners and other local stakeholdersDirect resource management processes and output estimatesManage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaignsManage external stakeholders supporting property and sales tax abatement effortsManage occasional permitting activities with support from other divisions of the firmPrepare project budgets, schedules, and RFP responsesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
