Job Title: General ManagerLocation: Norwalk, CTOverview:Daisy is
a national smart space installation and services company that
simplifies smart home and office technology to make it work
optimally, solving one of the biggest in-home problems today and
bringing more joy into the lives of our clients. We are seeking a
General Manager to lead all operations in our growing region of
Fairfield County Connecticut. Reporting to the SVP of Operations,
this natural leader will oversee a highly cross functional team and
drive alignment towards branch goals. They will have a strong
understanding of revenue and sales processes. They will always seek
to provide the utmost in services and satisfaction to our valued
clients while maintaining operational best practices and
consistently collaborating with Daisy leadership and support
systems to achieve all of the above. The ideal candidate will have
a strong background in client management, sales strategy, and
financial management.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve company objectives,
including sales targets, market share goals, and operational
efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate employees, cultivating and
fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting,
ensuring profitability and responsible resource allocation.
- Sales & Marketing:
- Drive sales growth through effective sales strategies, market
analysis, and customer relationship management.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective
communication, problem-solving, and proactive customer
support.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including teams across
Operations, Sales, Marketing, Technician, Project Management and
potentially other capacities ensuring efficiency, quality, and
compliance with industry standards.
- Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key
stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Performance Monitoring & Analysis:
- Regularly review performance data, identify areas for
improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and
industry standards.Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a General Manager or similar
executive role
- Experience in Smart Home and Office Installation, Construction,
or similar home services industry highly preferred
- BS/BA in Business or relevant field; MS/MA is a plus
- Must align with Daisy's frontline-first focused culture - we
believe our Technicians and Project Managers who are in client's
homes should be empowered as critical thinkers and problem
solvers.
- Must be extremely client service oriented
- Experience in planning and budgeting
- Overall knowledge of business processes and functions (finance,
procurement, sales, operations etc.)
- Strong technical and analytical ability
- Excellent communication skills with branch teams as well as
with central Daisy team on all key initiatives, progress, issues
and opportunities
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude.Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pmCompensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of $115-135K, based on skills and
experience
