State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) is the fourth largest asset
management firm globally. SSGA Risk is responsible for risk
oversight of $4.7 trillion of assets under management across all
investment strategies. This is a senior analyst role within State
Street Global Advisor's Enterprise Risk Management group (ERM).
SSGA ERM team consists of 70 risk professionals located in various
locations across US, EMEA and APAC. As a combined group, we are
responsible for the identification, assessment, control and
reporting of risk in five main disciplines: investment, liquidity,
counterparty, operational, and model risk.This role will assist in
coordination and execution of effective risk management programs
aimed at governing, overseeing, and managing risks in support of
the firm's risk excellence goals. This role will support the firm's
growth strategy in a risk-controlled manner. Primary responsibility
will be coordinating across risk disciplines to ensure the
department's compliance and alignment with corporate governance
frameworks as well as communication with internal and external
stakeholders.The successful candidate must be able to effectively
influence teams to work towards a shared vision, manage various
programs simultaneously, communicate articulately with
stakeholders, and manage data and information.Key
Responsibilities
- Support the overall Enterprise Risk Management program and
framework of SSGA and State Street
- Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate policies, standards,
and guidelines
- Ensure the team maintains, reviews and updates appropriate
business unit procedures and policies
- Lead manage responses to prospects and clients on Due-Diligence
Questionnaires (DDQs) and Request-for-Proposals (RFPs)
- Assist in the development of regulatory and client
presentations reflecting an overview and risks of the SSGA
business
- Oversee the team's End User Development Tools (EUDT) inventory
and ensure compliance with Policies. Assist the team in
streamlining the inventory and tools to create a robust risk
framework
- Help manage the team's model risk governance requirements to
ensure alignment with internal policies and standards
- Support data quality governance of critical report and BCBS 239
requirements, by ensuring an accurate inventory of critical reports
and data-quality checks as required
- Collaborate effectively with Enterprise Data Governance and
Risk Technology teams to develop technical lineage of critical data
elements, design and configure DQ rules in data governance
tool.
- Coordinate with risk asset class leads to design data quality
rules for implementing effective controls and monitoring for risk
data.
- Maintain and monitor data quality issue dashboard in order to
escalate timely for resolution and reporting.
- Represent SSGA Risk across relevant internal governance
forums
- Provide periodic training to the team on governance
requirements and best practices
- Support business unit's Sustainable Investing remit inclusive
of drafting enterprise risk inputs to disclosures for corporate
reports, and assisting in reviews of overall disclosures
- Executing on key deliverables and independent projects with

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, information
systems, or related field. MBA, CFA or FRM preferred
- Minimum 5 years relevant industry experience with solid working
knowledge of investment management or finance field. Risk
management, governance, or related function a plus
- Powerpoint, Excel, and Word proficient; experience with

Range:$90,000 - $142,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to
the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would
ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the
