Associate Product Manager page is loadedAssociate Product ManagerApply locations Boston, Massachusetts - Full time - Posted 3 Days Ago - End Date: May 30, 2025 (19 days left to apply) - Job requisition id JR25030633The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the life insurance product development initiatives and fostering positive relationships within US Insurance, including Distribution, IS, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Underwriting. The role involves managing our life insurance product portfolio, supporting new product initiatives to drive growth, and maintaining competitiveness of current products.Position Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Support product managers in project implementation, issue resolution, bank and wirehouse product submissions, user acceptance testing, and learning the Product Development process.
• Product Management: Prepare presentation updates and supporting materials for product presentations.
• VUL Funds: Assist with semi-annual fund updates and special projects related to the John Hancock Variable Insurance Trust.
• Distribution Support: Address general product questions related to John Hancock's retail life insurance products and Variable funds.
• Product R&D: Support new product research and development efforts.Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 4+ years of product experience in the insurance sector, supporting life insurance product portfolios
• Experience managing one or more specific product lines
• Knowledge of the life insurance brokerage marketplace
• Technical understanding of insurance productsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Data analysis skills for synthesizing information for management and distribution teams
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
